What you should know before requesting a quote.
The questions are grouped to make it easier to compare the options, responsibilities and stages of a CERB project.
Services, project size, pricing and timelines
What services does CERB Development offer?
CERB builds business websites and landing pages and provides business digitalization services, domain, hosting and integration setup, maintenance for websites built by CERB, and optional post-launch monitoring.
Do you build websites for every type of business?
Yes. We build websites for service providers, B2B companies, real estate and construction businesses, manufacturers, education providers, consultants, hospitality businesses and any organization looking for greater visibility.
What is the difference between a business website and a landing page?
A business website organizes information about your company, services and contact options across several pages and supports your long-term online presence. A landing page focuses on one offer or campaign and one main action, such as requesting a quote, making a call or booking an appointment.
How many pages can a website have?
Depending on the goals and amount of content, the structure can include between 3 and 20 pages. The final number is set after organizing the services, information and actions visitors need to take.
How much does a website cost, and what affects the price?
The price depends on the structure, number of pages, content, features, integrations and level of customization. The cost is set out in a project-specific proposal before work begins; there is no single fixed price that applies to every project.
How long does it take to build a website?
The schedule depends on the scope, whether the materials are ready, the number of feedback rounds and the integrations required. The timeline and deliverables are documented before implementation begins rather than assuming the same delivery time for every website.
Preparation, process and responsibilities
What do I need to send you to get started?
To get started, it helps to have a description of the business and its services, the intended audience, the logo and brand guidelines, available copy and images, and contact details. During the first discussion, we identify what is ready, what is missing and what needs to be prepared before each stage.
How does the project work?
The project moves through goal setting, structure and content, design and development, accessibility and functionality checks, launch and support. See the Process page for an overview of the stages and responsibilities.
What data do you need, and how are the data-processing terms defined?
We request only the data needed to prepare the proposal, deliver the project and complete approved configurations. Data categories, purposes, responsibilities, the applicable legal framework, providers involved and retention periods are not assumed: they are defined and recorded in the project documents before the relevant processing begins.
Who creates and manages the project accounts?
CERB creates the accounts needed for the domain, hosting and external services together with the client and manages them during the project. At handover, the client changes all passwords; the new passwords are known only to the client, CERB's access ends, and the accounts remain under the client's management.
Design, features and accessibility
Is the design tailored to my brand?
Yes. We select colors, fonts, images and a visual style that fit your brand while preserving readability, contrast, clear information hierarchy and easily identifiable actions.
Will the website work on mobile and load quickly?
The website is responsive and checked at relevant screen sizes. Code and images are optimized for fast loading, although real-world performance also depends on hosting, the visitor's connection and any integrated third-party services.
Can I add a booking button or WhatsApp?
Yes. Depending on the project, the website can include call and WhatsApp buttons, forms, booking tools, Google Maps, social media and links to a store, menu or other relevant platforms. The exact integrations are defined in the proposal and project documents.
Can the website be used with a keyboard and a screen reader?
The website is built with semantic structure, form labels, a logical navigation order, visible focus, relevant text alternatives and reduced-motion support. Keyboard navigation and screen reader behavior are checked according to the components and user flows included in the project.
Can the website include sign-in, an admin dashboard, a database, checkout or online payments?
Yes. These features can be assessed and included as optional work when the project requires them. They are not automatically part of a static business website and are scoped, estimated and documented separately, together with the relevant security, access and data-processing requirements.
Does the quote form store data on the website?
No. The form prepares a message and opens the conversation with CERB Development in WhatsApp; the website does not store the data in a backend. The user reviews and confirms the message in WhatsApp before sending it.
Can domain and hosting support be included?
You can receive help choosing and configuring the domain and hosting with the provider selected for the project. The necessary accounts are created by CERB together with the client and managed by CERB during the project. At handover, the client changes all passwords; the new passwords are known only to the client, CERB's access ends, and the accounts remain under the client's management.
SEO, maintenance and post-launch support
How do you help my business become easier to find on Google?
We organize pages, titles, descriptions, internal links and copy so that search engines and visitors can better understand your services, service area and intended audience. The optimization focuses on technical clarity and relevant content without artificially stuffing keywords.
Does CERB guarantee a specific Google ranking?
No. CERB can establish a sound technical and editorial SEO foundation, but indexing, rankings and the pace at which results appear are controlled by search engines and depend on competition, domain history, content and other external factors. No ranking or timeframe is guaranteed.
Can I update the website later?
Yes. For websites built by CERB, you can request updates, new pages or other changes after launch. Each request is assessed based on the structure and its impact on the existing design, content and functionality.
Do you maintain any website?
No. Maintenance is available only for websites built by CERB so that the implementation structure, quality and required changes can be managed correctly.
What does 30-day monitoring involve?
Monitoring is an optional service for the first 30 days after launch. If the relevant tools are configured for the project, we can review search visibility, technical performance and visitor actions, then propose adjustments based on the signals observed, without making promises about Google rankings.
What happens after launch?
After launch, we check the pages, links, forms and behavior on relevant devices. Any agreed corrections are applied, and CERB websites can later receive requested updates, maintenance or the optional 30-day monitoring service.
