Frequently asked questions

Clear answers before we begin.

Choose the question that interests you. If your project has other requirements, we'll discuss them in our initial conversation.

01What type of project is right for me?
A landing page works well for a single offer or campaign. A static website organises stable information across several pages. A website with an administration interface lets you update agreed content areas. A web platform is suitable when you need accounts, roles, automation, payments, bookings, orders or other connected processes.
02What's the difference between a static website and one with an administration interface?
On a static website, changes are made on request. With an administration interface, you sign in to a panel and update the editable areas agreed for your project yourself, such as services, opening hours, your portfolio or contact details.
03What is a web platform?
It's a web product that supports processes, rather than just presenting a business. It can include administrator and customer accounts, bookings, document generation, payments, inventory, orders, reports and integrations with other services.
04How much does a project cost?
The cost depends on the project structure, number of pages, features, integrations and available materials. Once I understand exactly what needs to be built, you'll receive a quote tailored to your project, without a generic price that might conceal additional work.
05How long does it take?
The timeframe is agreed after defining the structure and features. Complexity, available materials and how quickly stages are approved all matter. You'll receive an estimate before work begins, based on what actually needs to be built.
06Do I need to prepare text and images before we talk?
No. We can start with the materials you already have and work out what's missing together. Text is organised for clarity, and images and videos used in the project are prepared to load and display correctly.
07Will the project work on a phone?
Yes. The design is adapted for desktop and mobile, and the structure, text, images and key actions are checked across different screen sizes and ways of interacting.
08What's included in the launch-ready SEO foundation?
Website development includes a launch-ready SEO foundation and baseline accessibility. The aim is to make the project easy for people to navigate and provide search engines with clear information about each page. Depending on the project structure, I implement:
  • page titles, descriptions and other metadata relevant to each page's actual content;
  • JSON-LD structured data that matches the displayed information, without artificial markup or promises of rich results;
  • semantic structure for headings, sections, navigation, internal links and easy-to-understand content;
  • natural wording and phrases relevant to how customers search for the business's services, without forced keyword repetition;
  • crawlable URLs and links, canonical signals and correctly configured indexing rules for public pages;
  • alternative text for relevant images, field labels, visible focus, keyboard navigation and useful information for screen readers;
  • layouts adapted for mobile and desktop, optimised images and measures to support fast loading, responsive interactions and visual stability.

Accessibility is a separate discipline from SEO, but is implemented within the same technical foundation because it improves usability and semantic clarity. CERB commits to implementing and checking the elements agreed for the project at launch — this is the controllable, measurable part. Development does not automatically include ongoing SEO monitoring, regular publishing, campaigns, advertising, backlink acquisition or monthly changes after launch.

09Why can't an exact indexing timeframe be guaranteed?
Because indexing is decided by Google's systems after publication, not by CERB or any other developer. Google's own documentation states that meeting technical requirements does not guarantee crawling, indexing or displaying a page, and that a recrawl request can take days to weeks. The same applies to every website. CERB controls and checks the technical aspects — public page accessibility, metadata, semantic structure, applicable structured data and performance — so Google can discover and understand the content. When Google's systems process it remains under Google's control.
10Why can't a particular Google ranking be guaranteed?
Because Google calculates and updates the order of results; the website developer does not determine it. Google's official guide explains that there is no secret method that automatically puts a website first. Rankings can vary with the search query, content relevance and quality, competition, authority built over time, location, language, device and algorithm changes. Neither CERB nor any other honest provider can control or promise a fixed position. CERB commits to what it can control: a checked technical foundation, well-structured content and removal of foreseeable technical obstacles, giving the project the right conditions to be understood and evaluated by Google.
11Who handles SEO and marketing after launch?
After handover, the client is responsible for promotion and developing their online presence, unless the quote separately includes other services. This includes updating information, publishing useful content, campaigns, the business's local profile, legitimately earning mentions and links, monitoring Search Console data and making adjustments based on results. These are ongoing activities, distinct from building the technical foundation delivered with the project.
12Can I update the content myself after launch?
Yes, if you choose a website with an administration interface or a platform. Before development, we agree exactly which areas you need to edit, so the panel is useful for your work without adding unnecessary complexity.
13Do you offer maintenance after launch?
Yes. Maintenance and support are available for websites and platforms developed by CERB and can include technical interventions, fixes and updates agreed according to the project.
14Can we work together if I'm not based in Hunedoara?
Yes. We can work entirely remotely, without being limited to a local area. Discussions, materials, approvals and project stages can all be managed online.
15How do I request a quote?
On the Contact page, a guided form helps you choose a service and briefly describe your project. At the end, WhatsApp opens with a prefilled message for you to review and send. You can also call directly or use the email address shown on the website.
